By signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between USAID and the municipality of Prokuplje, on April 3, 2003, Serbia Local Government Reform Program (SLGRP) officially started its activities in this municipality. The agreement signed outlined mutual expectations and the level of cooperation on the part of both parties in the program.
Serbia Local Government Reform Program activities in Prokuplje have been focusing on four areas. These are: Financial Management, Communal Enterprise, Information Technology, and Policy Reform.
